Good runs from Delma and Extreme
I was happy with both my entrants at Menangle last week, with Delma Courage and Franco Extreme taking 3rd place.
Delma had every chance, but using his blistering gate speed comes at a cost, and he just hung on for his placing - but it was strong field, with the winner bolting in again at his next appearance.
Extreme raced without cover first up and was game to end, going down a short neck each way in a good finish in a fast run last 800m (56.5, 27.1)
We have had a frustrating run of placings recently, with Franco Jaggerman (2nd), Franco Emerger (3rd) BG3 (3rd) and then 2 4ths last week at HP in the $20,000 finals.
Sales include 2 wins from durable pacer Drummossie, a strong win by My Bella Mafia at Penrith, a strong 2nd from King Courage at Penrith, and 2nd placings to Earldom at Menangle and Franco Tinman in Perth
